Stop right away! Where's your... helmet?

This really happened in the city of Constanta, in  Romania. A naked motorbike passenger was pulled over by cop for not wearing a helmet - but let off being completely nude.

Stopped by police in Romania, the cheeky traveller was let off with a warning and a ticket. They're the kind of bumpers that could be a serious safety hazard for other pop-eyed road users.

But when this nude pillion passenger was stopped by traffic police in Constanta, Romania, the only thing she was pinched for was for not wearing a helmet.
These pictures - taken by other motorists clearly impressed by her boot-y - were taken after she obeyed the police warning and put her crash-hat back on.

And her ample bodywork - now to be found on Facebook - could teach any motorist a thing or two about dangerous curves.

The officer was a traffic cop and the only traffic offence she'd committed was in not wearing a helmet," explained one witness to Romanian media.
"So he gave her a warning and a ticket and told her and her companion to ride on," they added.

Impossible basketball shot in Estonia

Latvian basketball player Armands Skele, a 6-foot-4 guard, made an incredible shot saving the ball from out of bounds while flipping it blind around his back for a three-ball as his team won Game 2 of the Estonia League semifinals Friday.

The flamboyant three-point shot is one of the most cherished acts of showboating in the sport – up there with twirling slam dunks and brutal backboard blocks. But have they ever seen a more outrageous long-range shot than this?

Estonian team BC Kalev/Cramo were trailing 71-77 in a league play-off match against rivals Tarvas when one of their players pulled off a piece of skill – or was it luck? – that was simply unbelievable.

Chasing a ball that was bouncing towards the half-way line, Armands Šķēle picked it up just before it went out of play and slung the ball over his shoulder towards the 'D'. Only, to the amazement of the crowd and himself, the ball dropped straight into the net.

White shark kills bodysurfer David Lilienfeld

David Lilienfeld was in the water with his brother and two friends at Gordon’s Bay to the southeast of the city when the shark struck at around 12.30pm. Witnesses described how the five-metre creature dragged him underwater as his brother looked on helplessly. He and their friends managed to pull him onto nearby rocks, but he had died by the time paramedics were able to reach him by boat.
Surfers pay tribute to David Lilienfeld

Mr Lilienfeld, from nearby Camps Bay, had represented South Africa at the World Bodyboarding Championship in the Canary Islands in November. Pat Harris, the South African Bodyboarding Association vice chairperson, said he was both accomplished and popular. “It’s a humongous loss," he added.

Controversy now surrounds the filming of a documentary entitled Shark Men in the bay, in which researchers had been using bait to lure sharks close to their boat. Shark experts had warned that the practice could cause a shark attack – the documentary team’s permit to film has now been cancelled.

It's not the first time surfers are victim of shark attacks. Perhaps the most famous was the surfer Bethany Hamilton who lost her arm after a being attacked by a shark. Her story was brought on film last year in "Soul Surfer", starring Helen Hunt and Dennis Quaid. Unfortunately, David Lilienfeld had a different destiny.
