Impossible basketball shot in Estonia

Latvian basketball player Armands Skele, a 6-foot-4 guard, made an incredible shot saving the ball from out of bounds while flipping it blind around his back for a three-ball as his team won Game 2 of the Estonia League semifinals Friday.

The flamboyant three-point shot is one of the most cherished acts of showboating in the sport – up there with twirling slam dunks and brutal backboard blocks. But have they ever seen a more outrageous long-range shot than this?

Estonian team BC Kalev/Cramo were trailing 71-77 in a league play-off match against rivals Tarvas when one of their players pulled off a piece of skill – or was it luck? – that was simply unbelievable.

Chasing a ball that was bouncing towards the half-way line, Armands Šķēle picked it up just before it went out of play and slung the ball over his shoulder towards the 'D'. Only, to the amazement of the crowd and himself, the ball dropped straight into the net.
